Loving God is only the beginning of our journey towards love. God calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves, giving of ourselves to meet the needs of anyone who crosses our path. We do this ultimately because we want to show Jesus how much we love HIM.
Feeling love for God isn’t enough – God has called us to love Him with our minds, too. Join us as Pastor Toby discusses both WHY we should love God with our minds and HOW we can get started.
The next logical step after receiving God’s love is to reciprocate that love. Jesus calls us to do this, in part, by feeling strong emotions for God in our “heart”, or inner self. Nurturing and maintaining this passion for God is of utmost importance!

The cross where Jesus died is the ultimate proof we really are loved by God. Jesus’s decision to die for us, motivated by love, convinces us of that truth, as do the many benefits we can enjoy because He did. All that is left is to respond to this “cross of love.”
The people with the “inside track” on being true followers of Jesus are not those who are the most moral, but those who have the greatest self-awareness (along with Jesus-awareness) and therefore love the most.
