When we break our promises to be faithful to God and faithful to our spouses, we can count on God to serve us up some “chin music” to expose our selfishness and get our attention before our relationships with Him (and our spouses) are damaged beyond repair.
We wear God out when we accuse Him of denying His people justice and favoring the wicked. God wants us to know that He is coming in judgment of the wicked…and of the righteous, so we need to be prepared.
When we give God our leftovers, we reveal both a profound disrespect for God and a diminished understanding of His great worth. This is something that God will not tolerate in those who wish to enjoy a good relationship with Him.
Younger women who are chasing a healthy femininity will be sure to pursue purity and kindness, restrain their worst impulses, and make a significant investment in their family. As they do so, they will uphold God’s reputation and bring honor to His name.
